Govinda, who is called Bollywood's Hero No. 1, has been away from the big screen for a long time. At one time he used to have a lot of projects, but now he gets very few offers. He has revealed that he had turned down the offer of a big film at a time when people were writing about him that he did not have work.
While talking to Mukesh Khanna, Govinda said, "When people were writing about me that I don't have work, I rejected a film worth Rs 100 crores. After that, I was looking in the mirror and slapping myself for refusing the project. I was telling myself, have you gone crazy? With that money, you could have fixed your financial condition."
Govinda also said that his role in that film was similar to the kind of characters that are in vogue these days. He said that a conspiracy was hatched against him in the industry. An attempt was made to defame him. Govinda said, "Some people wanted to get me out of the industry. I understood that I am not educated and I have come among educated people and they want to throw me out."
He also says that at one time some people were caught with weapons outside his house, due to which he was very scared. After that, he changed a lot and now he is not the same as before.
'Govinda' has not appeared in any film for 6 years. He was last seen in the film 'Rangeela Raja' released in the year 2019. However, a few months ago he revealed in Kapil Sharma Show that he is going to make a comeback. His three films are going to be released. However, there is no update about his films yet.
