Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, who set a record by winning three times from rural constituencies in 2014, 2019, and 2024—the first time this has ever happened in Nellore district history—now made headlines by simultaneously laying the groundwork for 105 developmental projects in his constituency valued at Rs 191 crore. This has never been seen before.
By working with local leaders from the TDP, BJP, and JSP, Kotamreddy was able to accomplish this enormous aim.
On Sunday, he lay the groundwork for the majority of these projects, with the remaining work being done by former Nellore Mayor N Bhanusree and his brother, Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy, who is in charge of the TDP rural constituency. These projects comprise CC roads, drainage canals, two flyover bridges, and a minor bypass road. MLA Kotamreddy later told reporters that they want to finish all of these projects by May 20 and dedicate them to the public. In the next week, it was also suggested to lay the foundation stone for further projects valued at Rs 40 crore. The MLA expressed sincere gratitude to Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for taking the initiative to approve projects for the rural Nellore constituency.
On Sunday, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy received congratulations from Minister for Human Resources Development Nara Lokesh for embarking on such an impressive undertaking.
