Atishi asked BJP during the press conference whether there is no difference between the formation of a four-member committee and ₹2500 being deposited in the accounts of women? She said that during the Delhi elections, Prime Minister Modi had guaranteed that ₹2500 would be deposited in the accounts of women from March 8. Today is March 8 but no woman has received ₹2500 in her account.
Atishi said that the BJP government of Delhi has proved that Modi's guarantee is not a guarantee but a Jumla. Atishi further said that women have got a 'Jhunjhuna' in the form of a four-member committee. This committee will first decide the criteria, after which the process of identifying the beneficiaries will begin and then registration will be done.
But it is not yet certain when the transfer of money will start. During this, Atishi also advised women to update their mobile numbers in their bank accounts so that they can receive messages about the receipt of this money. During this, Atishi said that PM Modi had promised that Rs 2500 will be deposited in the bank accounts of women of Delhi.
Let us tell you that it was already decided that the benefit of this scheme will be given only to women of poor families. However, what will be the definition of poverty was not decided in advance. The second condition is that the benefit of this scheme will be given only to one woman of the family. Due to this decision, the number of beneficiaries may be reduced considerably.
Let us tell you that Delhi CM Rekha Gupta said that on the occasion of Women's Day, our cabinet meeting was held in which the Mahila Samridhi Yojana has been approved. She said that we have formed a committee which will be headed by me (Rekha Gupta) and registration for the scheme will start soon.
