Filmmaker-producer Karan Johar's dramatic weight loss has wowed and shocked fans alike. His sudden transformation sparked Ozempic rumours. Now, Johar has finally addressed the question that has been circulating on social media for some time: Did Karan Johar take Ozempic to lose weight? Here's what he said!

On the green carpet at the IIFA Digital Awards on Saturday, Karan denied using Ozempic for his weight loss, stating, "Being healthy, eating right, exercising, doing your best to look good, that’s what it’s about."

When asked about his fitness routine, Karan went, "If I do that, I'll give my secret away."

While KJo did not directly address the Ozempic speculation, he subtly shared that his weight loss was achieved through healthy habits and not through shortcut methods.

Earlier, Karan slammed a troll accusing him of using Ozempic, for his weight loss. The social media user, in his X post, referred to Maheep Kapoor's comments from Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives on Ozempic usage for fast weight loss.

Sharing a screenshot of a tweet on X, the filmmaker clarified that his weight loss was healthy. The screenshot featured a tweet that read, "Maheep rightly called out people for using Ozempic for fast weight loss and driving it out of stock for people with diabetes. Hope she calls out Karan Johar too, the producer of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives."

To this, Johar said, Karan Johar called out the troll and wrote, "Being healthy and eating well and reinventing the wheel of your own nutrition! Aur Ozempic ko Mile credit ???" Tagging Maheep, he asked, "Did you mean me???"

What is Ozempic?

Ozempic was approved in 2017 by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It is an injection that helps lower blood sugar by stimulating the pancreas to produce more insulin. While it is not approved for weight loss, it slows digestion and can help reduce appetite.
