The first budget of Mahayuti government of Maharashtra was presented on Monday (March 10). Deputy Chief Minister and Finance and Planning Minister Ajit Pawar presented the budget in the assembly. The eyes of the entire Maharashtra including farmers, traders and entrepreneurs were on this budget. Ajit Pawar presented this 11th budget as Finance Minister. During this, he made many big announcements.
The Finance Minister said that the slaughter port being developed in Palghar district will be operational by the year 2030. He informed that it is proposed to construct a third airport for Mumbai near the Wadhavan port. Apart from this, a station of Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train will also be built near this port.
Pawar said that Maharashtra's new industrial policy will be focused on investment of Rs 40 lakh crore and creation of 50 lakh jobs. In the budget speech, he said that Mumbai metropolitan region is being developed as a development center. The minister said that by 2047 its economy will be $ 1.5 lakh crore.
He also said that Maharashtra will have new health and policy of senior citizens. Along with this, Pawar in his budget speech soon announced the introduction of the facility of landing at night at Shirdi Airport.
Apart from this, he also said that domestic flights will be operated from Navi Mumbai International Airport from next month i.e. from April. He informed that 85 percent of its work has been completed and tests have also been done successfully.
Regarding the metro, he said that Metro service will work to connect Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj of Mumbai to Navi Mumbai International Airport. With the completion of this announcement of the government, Mumbai and people coming here will get a lot of convenience.
