seems to have taken a major U-turn when it comes to social media since the release of her Netflix show last week. Taking to Instagram today, The Duchess of Sussex, 43, has shared a number of tweets made by fans on X and Instagram posts praising her cooking show "With Love, Meghan".
The duchess and mum-of-two has shared these tweets on her Instagram stories, telling fans to "keep up the beautiful work". However, the duchess sharing these tweets on X could be a surprise for some, especially as Meghan had previously said she does not look at social media. She made this revelation in 2019 when she was still a senior royal.
During her first appearance as vice-president of the Queen's Commonwealth Trust on International Women's Day in 2019, a position she no longer holds since quitting royal life in 2020, Meghan sat on a panel held at King's College London.
At the event, she was asked if she looked at Twitter - now named X - to which she replied: "No, sorry no. For me that's my personal preference."
However, that evidently now seems to have changed, with Meghan having looked at the social media platform to gauge public feedback regarding her new show.
This may not be a surprise for some, as Meghan also did a major U-turn with Instagram this year, launching an official account on January 1.
It is believed this use of social media is to aid her new business ventures, which includes her cooking series - which has been - and her lifestyle brand As Ever.
While the duchess has posted some personal moments on her new account @meghan, for Prince Harry, most of her posts revolve around her business ventures and causes she wants to promote.
Since January 1, the mum-of-two has made 15 posts and regularly shares videos and pictures to her stories - which last for just 24 hours.
