At the highly anticipated IIFA 2025 Awards, Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan won the “Best Actor (Male)” award for his outstanding performance as Rooh Baba in the film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
After receiving the award, Kartik reflected on his career journey, the challenges and successes he faced and his special connection with the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise.
Kartik’s speech about his film journey quickly gained popularity on Instagram, where he shared his thoughts with fans.
During his speech, he referenced a famous dialogue from his film Chandu Champion, saying:
“I don’t have the right words right now, so I just want to say a popular line from Chandu Champion— ‘I am neither Chandu nor a Champion’.”

Kartik also recalled the skepticism he faced when he first joined Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, stating:
“Many people asked me whether I could handle the weight of this film. During the shoot, we had no idea if the film would be a success, but thanks to the fans, it became a hit.”
Kartik expressed his gratitude to his fans, saying:
“I want to thank all my fans who have showered love on the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. It is because of them that I am holding this award today.”
He also mentioned that When bhool bhulaiyaa 3 was released on Diwali 2024, the team was thrilled to see it perform well despite competition from other films. He said:
“Even with strong competition, our film received immense love and appreciation, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 became a box office success.”
Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was released in Cinemas on November 1, 2024 coinciding with the Hindu Festival of Diwali.
The horror-height film Starred Kartik Aaryan Alongside Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri in Lead Roles. Supporting roles were played by Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra and Ashwini Kalsekar Adding to the film's entertainment value.
