Among the Tridevas, Brahma is the only deity who is not married, but whose main responsibility is to create. In such a situation, curiosity arises in the mind how Brahmaji created this world and how to carry it forward. Hindu scriptures, especially in Vishnu Purana, Bhagavata Purana and Mahabharata, mention that Brahma ji produced some children from his psyche to create the universe. They are called Manas Putra because they appeared with their thoughts and yoga power and not physically born. The process of birth of psyche sons:
When the universe was zero in the initial stage of the universe, Brahma ji resolved to create the creation. He created some children with his mind with the power of meditation and yoga, so that they can promote knowledge, penance and creation in the universe. He produced a total of 59 sons from his body, the first 16 sons he produced by his will, all of them called “Manas Putra”. Out of these 16 Manas sons, 10 became Prajapati and 7 Saptarshi. In this way, the first of the craze, Sanandan, Sanatan and Sanatkumar appeared, who lived in a child from birth, indestructible and always Brahmachari. This was followed by Atri, Bhrigu, Angira, Marichi, Pulastya, Pulah, Kritu, Vashistha, Narada and Daksha.
Different parts of Brahma ji were born from their different psyche sons and they fulfilled their purpose. Narada ji was born from Brahma's heart and preached devotion and music. Daksha Prajapati was born with toe and Brahma was made to expand the universe, so later he became the father of many people. From the left, Shatarupa and Manu were born from the right side, from which infinite sons and daughters were born. We are called humans by the name Manu. Chitragupta was born carefully, who was the father of the Kayastha dynasty and also kept an account of death.
What was the purpose of the birth of the sons of the mind? Brahmaji gave birth to all his mind sons for different tasks and development of creation. For example, Santkumars adopted the path of salvation and knowledge and propagated disinterest and meditation in the world. Rishis like Vashishtha, Bhrigu, Angira, Marichi etc. put forward the tradition of religion, knowledge and sacrifice. Narada Muni spread the message of devotion and music. Daksha Prajapati was entrusted with the task of increasing the population. His daughter Sati was the first wife of Mahadev.
