Amit Shah on Sunday addressed the 'Eternal Mithila Festival 2025' program in Gandhinagar. During this time he promised that a grand temple of Goddess Sita would be built. The Union Minister said that when he went to Bihar during the Lok Sabha elections, he had said that Ram temple was built, now it is the turn to build a grand temple of Sita Mata.
'Sita Mata Temple will be built soon'
He said that now the temple of Sita Mata will be built which will give the message of women power to the whole world and this temple will teach the whole world to make life ideal in every way.
Amit Shah praised the people of Mithila and Bihar
Praising the people of Mithila and Bihar settled in Gujarat, he said that these people have contributed significantly to the development of Gujarat. Shah said that the land of Mithila has been the land of intellectuals since the Ramayana and the Mahabharata period, where the ancient Videha Empire is the mother of democracy.
'Mithilachal proved to be a strong force of democracy ‘
In his address, Shah said that Mahatma Buddha often used to say that no one can beat him as long as the people of Videha are in harmony. He said that Mithila proved to be a strong force of democracy, which continued to give its message to the whole country for years. The Union Minister said that Mithila has also been the earth of debate. He said that four of the six major darshans of India have come from Mithila.
Apart from this, Amit Shah said that the tradition of solution through dialogue has developed from the land of Mithila. The people of Bihar, especially the people of Mithila, have made a huge and significant contribution to the development of Gujarat. Shah inaugurated the eternal Mithila Bhavan in Gandhinagar and also unveiled the grand statue of the great poet Vidyapatiji. He said that this building will become an important center of the culture and tradition of Mithila, which is illuminated by the knowledge and power of Mata Sita, Vidushi Bharti, Gargi and Maitreyi.

Chirag Paswan said that this demand was our long time. I myself tried to put this issue on the ground through Bihar First and Bihari First. I believe that it is the will power in the central government, I believe that it is possible to build a grand temple of Goddess Sita in Mithila under the leadership of the present Prime Minister, like the temple of Lord Shri Ram is built in Ayodhya.
