Delhi University (DU) has released the official brochure for admission to graduation courses (UG) for the academic session 2025-26. Interested students can check it by visiting the website . This year BCom (Hons) has also been made available to 12th-pass students without studying Mathematics. Earlier Mathematics or Applied Mathematics was required for this course.

Now students can choose any one of the language subjects given in List A including Accountancy or Bookkeeping in place of Mathematics or can apply with a combination of two subjects from List B. This change is a big opportunity for those students who want to make a career in the commerce field but did not study Mathematics in 12th.

Admission will be done through CUET-UG.

Admission to most of the graduation courses at Delhi University will be based on the score of CUET-UG 2025. The admission process will be different for the School of Open Learning (SOL), Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB), and foreign students. Candidates will have to appear for the CUET-UG exam in the same subject that they have studied in 12th. If the subject studied in the 12th is not included in CUET-UG 2025, then the candidate will have to choose a related language or domain-specific subject.

Admission process for the course

For BA (Hons) courses, students are now allowed to choose two languages and three domain subjects from List A. At the same time, for admission in BSc (Hons) Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics, students will still have to have studied Mathematics in 12th. They can choose two subjects from List B or two languages from List A.

EWS quota and seats

Students who come from the EWS quota and want to apply will have to ensure that their certificate is issued after March 31, 2025. Apart from this, it will also be necessary to apply under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2025 for admission to Delhi University.
