In a latest report Bollywood actress Kajol has invested in a property with an area of 4365 sq ft in Goregaon West near Mumbai. The details were shared with the help of documents accessed by IndexTap. If reports are to be believed the property is worth Rs 28.78 crore. The Bollywood actress has purchased a commercial property a shop located on the ground floor of Linking Road in Bangur Nagar Goregaon West Mumbai from Bharat Realty Ventures Pvt Ltd. Kajol paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.72 crore for the transaction that was made on March 6 2025. As per media reports the per sq ft rate of the property bought by Kajol is Rs 65940. The documents further revealed that the property also includes car parking. Back in 2023 Kajol bought another office in Mumbai which was worth Rs 7.64 crore. The office space spans a RERA carpet area of 194.67 sq m. This property is located within Signature Building Oshiwara along Veera Desai Road in Andheri West Mumbai. In the same year Kajol invested in an apartment which she purchased in Mumbai for Rs 16.50 crore from Bharat Realty Ventures Pvt Ltd. Apart from Kajol her husband Ajay Devgn also made headlines when he leased out a commercial office space. The space is stretched across 3455 square feet and reports claim that the rent for the office is Rs 7 lakh per month. Kajol and Ajay are not the only actors who have invested in commercial properties. Other Bollywood celebs also prefer to do the same as the annual rental yield is higher compared to residential real estate. Some posh areas in Mumbai including Bandra Khar Lokhandwala in Andheri and Worli are among the favorite locations for B-town actors to invest in property. Kajol was last seen in Do Patti which was released on Netflix. However her last hit was Tanhaji in 2020.
