Election Commission: In view of the uproar over the voter list, the Election Commission has called the workers of BJP, TMC and Biju Janata Dal involved in the electoral process for training.     

Election Cmmission On Voter List: These days, the issue of voter list is hot between BJP and Trinamool Congress (TMC). Recently, a case was also brought to the Election Commission regarding the discrepancy in the voter list. Now the Election Commission has called the workers of BJP, Trinamool Congress and BJD involved in the electoral process for training to increase awareness about the electoral rules and laws. According to sources, all three parties have now agreed to this.

Let us tell you that delegations of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) had approached the commission during the day to raise issues related to the voter list. According to sources, all three parties have agreed to send their booth level agents, counting agents and election agents to the commission's training programs.

Earlier, the Election Commission said in a post on social media platform 'X' that it told the Trinamool Congress delegation that all concerns related to duplicate voter card numbers, duplication, illegal migrants, shifted and dead voters will be resolved with the active involvement of every booth-level officer and booth-level agents appointed by all political parties on behalf of the concerned Electoral Registration Officer.

The Election Commission wrote, 'The Commission welcomed the BJP delegation today and informed them that only citizens of India who are above 18 years of age can be registered as voters in the polling stations where they are residents.' It told the BJD that political parties are important stakeholders who are involved in every stage of the electoral process.
