Brilliant Angjaya, 23, appeared in a district court on Mar. 12, facing charges of indecent exposure. He is expected to plead guilty on Mar. 24, according to The Straits Times.

The incident occurred during a flight to Singapore on Jan. 23, but it is unclear where the flight departed from.

According to police, the incident occurred when Angjaya allegedly unzipped his trousers and exposed his genitals before covering himself with a blanket.

He then set up his mobile phone in video recording mode.

When a female cabin crew member approached him to serve his meal, the man removed the blanket and exposed himself to her in full view.

The air hostess immediately walked away and reported the incident to her supervisor.

Upon the plane’s arrival at Changi Airport, officers from the Airport Police Division arrested Angjaya and seized his phone.

Under Singaporean law, offenders convicted of sexual exposure can face up to a year in prison and a fine.
