These cut-offs are for all categories, except for Statistical Investigator (SI) Grade 2 posts, which have a different cut-off.

SSC CGL 2024: Selection Process

The SSC CGL exam consists of three main stages – Tier 1, Tier 2, and Document Verification and Skill Test. SSC CGL Tier 1 is a qualifying exam and candidates who clear it get a chance to appear in the Tier 2 exam. This year, the Tier 2 exam was conducted on 18, 19, 20, and 31 January 2025.

The successful candidates are selected based on Tier 1 and Tier 2 marks. After this, they have to undergo document verification and skill tests like DEST (Data Entry Speed ​​Test) or CPT (Computer Proficiency Test) for specific posts.

SSC clarified in its notice that only those candidates who had registered the online option/preference have been considered for final selection. According to this, the candidates who passed Tier 1 and Tier 2 and who registered their online option/preference have been included in the further selection process.
