PGCIL Recruitment: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Field Supervisor (Safety). The official advertisement for this recruitment has been released and interested candidates can apply online.

Educational Qualification and Required Experience

Candidates willing to apply for a Field Supervisor (Safety) government job must have a full-time diploma. This diploma must be obtained with a minimum of 50 percent marks in Electrical, Electrical (Power), Electric and Electronics, Power System Engineering, Power Engineering (Electrical), Civil, Mechanical or Fire Technology and Safety.

Candidates having B.Tech, B.E, M.Tech, or M.E qualification will not be eligible for this recruitment. Apart from this, the candidate must also have at least one year of work experience in the relevant field.

The maximum age limit for this post has been fixed at 29 years, which will be counted till 25 March 2025. However, candidates from reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per government rules.

Pay Scale
The selected candidates will get a salary between Rs 23,000 to Rs 1,05,000. In addition, IDA (Industrial Dearness Allowance), HRA (House Rent Allowance), and other government allowances will also be given.

Selection Process
For the post of Field Supervisor, candidates will have to appear for a written examination. Questions related to technical knowledge, aptitude, English, reasoning, quantitative aptitude and general awareness will be asked in the exam. General and EWS category candidates will have to score at least 40 percent marks in the examination and candidates from reserved categories will have to score 30 percent marks.

Application fee
The application fee is Rs 300, however, SC, ST, and Ex-Serviceman category candidates are exempted from the application fee. This recruitment is being done by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) for a fixed period.
