A serious incident has recently come to light in Balochistan, where the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) hijacked a passenger train, the Jaffar Express. The train was going from Quetta to Peshawar and had about 500 passengers, including women and children. The incident took place near Mashkaf in Bolan district of Balochistan province, when the train was passing through a tunnel. The attackers opened heavy fire on the train, injuring the train driver and stopping the train. The security personnel present in the train retaliated. You will not believe your eyes after seeing the scene. The purpose of BLA behind such explosion was to stop the train and hijack it. However, the train is completely hijacked and BLA is intent on continuously making explosions and threats. This video has been released by BLA itself, although ABP News does not confirm it completely. Many similar videos went viral on social media even after the hijacking.

Trains in Balochistan usually have security personnel on board, as separatists have previously carried out deadly attacks on trains and security forces in the region. In November, a separatist group carried out a suicide bombing at a train station in Quetta, killing 26 people, including security personnel, railway employees and passengers. Rich in oil and mineral wealth, Balochistan is Pakistan's largest but least populous province. It is home to the country's ethnic Baloch minority, whose members say they are discriminated against by the central government.
