MP: 3 people died in road accident in Chhatarpur, family was going to Bageshwar Dham for Holi

In Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, three people were killed and three others were injured when a car collided with a road divider on Friday. A police official said that the deceased and injured are relatives of each other. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Gwalior.

Inspector Ashutosh Shrotriya, in -charge of Bamitha police station, said that Amrish Solanki (44), his wife Geeta Solanki (40) and his daughter Devanshi Solanki (15) died on the spot in this accident.

Car driver sleeps

He said that the accident took place near Basari at 4:30 pm near Basari, about 17 km from the district headquarters. Amrish's younger brother Vikas Solanki (32), his wife Neha Solanki (26) and his daughter Gritali Solanki (12) were injured in this. The police officer said that he was going from Gwalior to Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur to participate in the Holi ceremony. He said that it seems that the driver of the car fell asleep and lost control of the vehicle.
