You must be using WhatsApp, but do you know that there are not just one but many useful features hidden in WhatsApp? Today we are going to tell you about some useful features that can help you save your 'precious mobile data' while using WhatsApp. You can reduce your data consumption by changing the settings of WhatsApp. Let us tell you about three such settings which will prove to be very helpful in saving data.

Media Auto-Download: First important task

The photo, video, and audio files you receive on WhatsApp get downloaded automatically, which increases data consumption. But if you want, you can also turn it off, for this, you have to go to the settings. After going to the settings, click on the auto-download option in data and storage.

Click on the mobile data option in the auto download option and un-tick all the options selected such as photo, audio, video, and document, and then press the OK button. By doing this, the next time your phone is on mobile data, none of these things will be downloaded automatically.

Use Less Data For Calls: Second Important Task

If you make calls on WhatsApp, then you should also know how your mobile data can be saved even during calls. For this, you have to turn off the option of 'Use Less Data for Calls' in the Storage and Data section in WhatsApp Settings.

Media Upload Quality: Third Important Task

Whenever you send photos and videos to others on WhatsApp, then also more of your mobile data is consumed. If you want your work to be done in less data, then for this you have to click on Media Upload Quality in the Storage and Data section in WhatsApp Settings. After this you will get two options, Standard Quality and HD Quality, for less data consumption you can choose the Standard Quality option instead of HD.
