Kangana Ranaut's much awaited film, Emergency, is now available for streaming. The film, in which Kangana plays a challenging role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, will make a digital debut on March 14, 2025. Kangana shared an exciting news on her Instagram, telling her followers, “A nation, a decision, an emergency. Emergency has now come on Netflix, definitely see. “

The OTT platform resorted to social media, especially X (first Twitter) to promote the film, stating, “Entertaining story of Shakti and Crisis. See Emergency, now on Netflix. “

Following a delay of months, the film was finally approved by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on October 17, 2024. Originally scheduled to release on 6 September, but the launch was postponed to ensure an easy start.

The film, made under the banner of Manikarnika Films and Zee Studios, is based on the Emergency of 1975. The film stars many of the best actors like Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair and late Satish Kaushik. See the Emergency on Netflix now!
