Kamala Raja Hospital in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh caught fire late at night with a short circuit. According to the police, no casualties were reported in this incident. At the same time, after the fire, about 150 patients from the entire hospital including maternity ward were transferred to Super Specialty Hospital. Two fire engines were sent to the spot, after which the fire has been controlled.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Vinod Singh said that patients were taken out as soon as the fire broke out. He has been sent to a super specialty hospital. Patients are being examined.
He said that there have been no casualties and patients are being investigated whether they have been affected by breathing due to smoke. Gwalior Municipal Corporation fire officer Atibal Singh Yadav said that two vehicles of the fire brigade were called and the fire has been controlled. He said that we had received information about the fire in the maternity ward of the hospital and we immediately informed the six stations. After which two vehicles arrived immediately and the fire was controlled.
