Australian cricketer David Warner will make his debut in an Indian film, and the release date is now confirmed. It has been reported that he will have a cameo appearance in the Telugu film Robinhood.
Warner recently posted the poster of the movie on social media, marking his debut in Indian cinema. While describing the experience, he said he had fun and announced the release of the movie on March 28.
Familiar in India through the IPL, Warner has found fame with his viral TikTok videos where he sings Tamil songs.
Earlier, Australian cricket superstar David Warner is going to be the most expensive player in the history of Pakistan Super League (PSL). Selected by Karachi Kings for season 10, now Warner has made it to the Platinum category with record minimum salary of $300,000.
This high-profile signing is a massive coup for Karachi Kings, which retains one of the world’s most explosive openers and strengthens their hand.
Moreover, Daryl Mitchell-the all-rounder for New Zealand-was also picked by Lahore Qalandars with a base price of $200,000, which shows the calibre of cricketers this league can attract.
Warner’s inclusion will surely pump up the zeal of the fans, thus showing the credence of PSL by growing on stature on the global T20 stage.
It should be noted that David Warner’s international cricket career ended with Australia’s elimination from the T20 World Cup. The 37-year-old opener had been an important player for Australia for more than a decade. Australia lost to India in Warner’s final match, in which he scored six runs.
This defeat put an end to his hopes of reaching the World Cup final. Warner had previously announced his retirement from one-day internationals and hinted at a possible return for the 2025 Champions Trophy. However, his departure from T20 cricket marks the end of his international career.
