Since quitting life as senior royals in 2020, Prince Harry and have been able to separate their professional lives from their personal lives. Despite having lived in a Montecito mansion for the last five years, very little is known about the couple's life on their sprawling estate, where they live with their two children Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three. However, just days before the release of her Netflix cooking show "With Love, Meghan" on March 4, The Duchess of Sussex, 43, spoke to People about what life looks like for the family of four behind closed doors.
While Harry, 40, and Meghan may be working on their separate work projects, the duchess said they still find time to spend with one another, which includes winding down in the evening watching TV. Meghan also said that after their children go to bed, she spends time with her husband debriefing about their day.
, Meghan said she has "nightcap recaps" with Harry where the couple unwind with a drink and talk about their day as they pack their children's lunchboxes.
She said: "I think all parents in this phase with kids the same age know it's rinse and repeat."
The duchess also said that the couple enjoy watching their favourite shows together before bed.
She told the magazine: "We love Shrinking; we just finished Black Doves and we're excited for the new season of The White Lotus."
As well as spending quality time with Harry and her children, the duchess also revealed that she has made friends in the local community who she enjoys spending time with.
She said: "I have a couple of girlfriends up here; these are stay-at-home moms and working women with normal jobs, not in the public eye.
"We went from just connecting through our kids to having girls' night out or doing Pilates together."
