While we're all eagerly awaiting the arrival of spring, the UK's sunshine levels might not be enough for some Brits.

The UK is one of the least sunny countries globally, but Secret London has revealed the world's sunniest country, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a rejuvenating holiday all year round.

Egypt has been crowned as the world's sunniest spot, with locals basking in 3,756.4 hours of sunshine annually. And it's not just during the traditionally sunny months; even in February, the country enjoys 257.5 hours of sunshine.

Egypt boasts numerous cities worth exploring, including its capital, Cairo, nestled along the River Nile.
