Having been asked to rank the best players in the position in England as part of a social media post, Robinson declared the Egyptian hero to be a better winger than both Arsenal's Saka and Phil Foden. In addition, the Fulham defender also deemed Salah to be a superior player to Tottenham's Son Heung-min.

Robinson's stock with Salah also appears to be high, with the American international having recalled an exchage with the Liverpool winger during a clash back in 2022. Speaking to the , Robinson said: "We played Liverpool in the first game of the season two years ago.

"I remember him saying to me midway through the game, ‘How old are you?’ So he didn’t really know who I was. I must have been 24, 25. He just nodded and carried on with the game. Then, after the game, I asked for his shirt, so we swapped shirts and we were just chatting and he was like, ‘You were the best player this game, keep up what you’re doing’. That was very nice of him."

As for the speculation in relation to a , Robinson has resolved to block out the noise, saying: "I’ve been in the game long enough now to kind of know you have to block out the outside noise and things like that because I’ve been on the end of it when I’ve not been playing well.

“I saw criticism when I was younger, seeing people doubting me and things. So I know that there’s two sides to the coin. You just have to take everything with a grain of salt. You have to believe in yourself and when things are going bad, focus on yourself, and when things are going good, focus on keeping going.

He added: "So, transfer rumours and stuff like that, I try not to look at. Especially like with the Liverpool one, all my friends and family are from Liverpool, so it’s more of them messaging me than me seeing newspaper stuff. And I have to say, look, it’s just, just a story in the paper and anyone who’s doing well is going to get linked to a team."
