WhatsApp is gearing up to introduce an exciting new feature that will allow users to link their social media profiles directly to their WhatsApp accounts. This update is currently available for beta users and is expected to roll out to all users soon.

🔹 What’s New in This Feature?

✅ Users can link their Instagram and Facebook profiles to their WhatsApp account.
✅ The linked profiles will appear in the profile section and chat info screen.
✅ Initially, only Instagram linking is available, but Facebook and other platforms will be added soon.

🔒 Privacy Control for Users

WhatsApp is also ensuring privacy settings for this feature, allowing users to:
🔹 Choose who can see their linked profiles (e.g., Everyone, Contacts, or Nobody).
🔹 Hide their social media accounts from specific contacts.
🔹 Keep the feature completely optional – users can choose whether to use it or not.

🧐 How Will It Work?

📌 Users can manually add their social media handles in their WhatsApp profile settings.
📌 Once added, the link will appear automatically in the profile section.
📌 This feature does not verify authenticity, meaning anyone can add any social media handle.

🚀 When Will It Be Available?

The feature is currently in testing mode and will soon be launched for all users worldwide.
