He also gave a special gift to Rajat Patidar who has become the captain of the team this season. Virat Kohli announced at the RCB Anbox event that Rajat Patidar is going to captain this team for a long time. He also asked for a special thing from fans for Rajat Patidar. Virat Kohli said, 'Rajat Patidar is going to captain the team for a long time. Give them as much love you can give. Rajat will do a great job for this magnificent franchise and will take this team forward.

Silver became captain for the first time

Rajat Patidar has become captain in the IPL for the first time. The big thing is that he does not have much experience in IPL. This player has played only 27 matches for RCB, in which he has scored 799 runs. The average of the Patidar is 34.74 and he has scored a century and 7 half -centuries for Bengaluru.

Rajat Patidar made his IPL debut in the year 2021, in which he got a chance in 4 matches. In 2022, these players played 8 matches and 333 runs with his bat at an average of 55.50. The 2023 season silver could not play due to the silver bruise, but in 2024, Patidar managed to score 395 runs at a strike rate of more than 177.
