Worst wedding ever? Bride’s big day upstaged by sudden storm, loss of power, dentures in toilet, more

Doom and gloom loomed over this bride and groom.

Weathering the storms of life together became a literal must for two hapless sweethearts, whose holy matrimony was plagued by severe rain, a seizure, a loss of electricity and a set of false teeth that were accidentally flushed down the toilet — and that’s not even the worst of it.

“Things that went wrong at our wedding,” Janai, a Washington-based newlywed wrote in the closed captions of a trending TikTok tell-all, forewarning over 514,000 viewers about her big day disaster.

“A huge storm rolled in right before our ceremony time,” said the beleaguered belle, sharing a portrait of herself posing in all-white bridal regalia as ominous dark clouds billowed overhead.

“We had to move the ceremony from outside to under a tent,” Janai continued. “Tent was falling down during the ceremony, getting guests wet and workers were super distracting trying to fix it.”

“It stormed so hard that not a single person could hear our vows,” she lamented, “and my dress was sitting in a puddle of water.”

And as the adage goes: when it rains, it pours — a forecast which, unfortunately, became a reality for the pour thing.

Janai, however, is far from the only bride who’s been forced to roll with the punches on her wedding day.

Be they from Mother Nature or a future mother-in-law, unexpected jabs are often hurled at the glammed-up girls just before they say “I Do.”

Meagan Archard’s dream wedding was nearly a nightmare after Hurricanes Helene and Milton threatened to ruin her Oct. 2024 nuptials. But thankfully, 50 strangers helped save the day by turning up to the event when invited guests were unable to attend.

A separate bride’s heavenly hitching went to hell after her hubby-to-be’s mom arrived in a flowing white dress, which she accessorized with a matching train, cream-colored hat and a corsage. The disrespectful display made onlookers “want to vomit.”

An unnamed attendee of Janai’s fête committed an equally déclassé offense, donning all white on her spotlight day.

The guest’s glaring fashion faux pas was painfully noticeable despite the fact that, “The venue lost power right before reception time,” said Janai. She and her new husband made their grand entrance into the party room sans music and lights.

Luckily, the couple’s photographer had a power station connected to their truck, which generated enough energy to charge the DJ booth.

Sadly, however, the DJ played the wrong songs throughout the night, including Janai’s father-daughter dance and her hubby’s waltz with his mom.

But playlist problems were the least of the bride’s concerns after her sister, who doubled as the maid of honor, suffered a seizure.

The health scare was almost immediately followed by an invitee who flushed their dentures down the commode, causing a messy clog — and serving as the cherry on top of what online trolls have deemed one of the most “chaotic” weddings ever.

A handful of digital Debbie downers even suggested that the series of unfortunate events were “signs” from the universe that the marriage wasn’t meant to be.

But Janai isn’t troubled by the threat of mystic messages.

“It was genuinely the most perfect day with the best memories [that] we will laugh about forever,” she gushed, adding that the venue regained power during the last three minutes of their reception.

The last-minute miracle granted Janai and her guy a chance to snag some sweet snapshots with their $1,000 marquee letters, which spelled out: “Crazy In Love.”

“We wouldn’t change a thing,” she vowed.
