Janhvi Kapoors rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya recently made headlines for his strong response to a troll who made a casteist comment on his Diwali post from 2024. Normally Shikhar avoids reacting to negativity but this time he didnt hold back. Taking to his Instagram stories he wrote It’s honestly pathetic that in 2025 there are still people like you with such a small backward mindset. He further added Diwali is a festival of light progress and unity—concepts that are clearly beyond your limited intellect. Maybe instead of spreading ignorance you should focus on educating yourself because right now the only thing truly ‘untouchable’ here is your level of thinking. Pahariya comes from a well-known political and entertainment family. He is the grandson of former Home Minister of India Sushilkumar Shinde and his mother Smruti Shinde is an actress. His elder brother Veer Pahariya recently made his Bollywood debut in Sky Force starring Akshay Kumar Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur. Shikhar has often been spotted with Janhvi Kapoor at various events including Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations last year and their visits to the Tirumala temple. Their dating rumors began in May 2024 when they were seen together at a café in Mumbai. However neither Shikhar nor Janhvi have confirmed or denied their relationship.
