This popular TV actress completed her education in Delhi. During her college days she auditioned for Indian Idol at a competition held in a mall. Rahul Vaidya who had recently finished his season on the show was a special guest at the event. She even made it to the top 30 contestants in Delhi. Interestingly very few people know that she once ran away from home. The actress once shared how naughty she was as a kid and has also been beaten by her parents for her mischievous activities. She shared an incident when she was seven-year-old and wanted to cook. She placed the utensil on the gas lighted the stove and went out to to get leaves from the garden. After getting the leaves she saw the utensil melting as it was a plastic container. She got paranoid and ran away without turning off the knob.
