Bhagyalakshmi Dairy located in Pune Maharashtra is known for supplying premium milk to some of Indian celebrities. From industrialist Mukesh Ambani to Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan takes milk from this dairy. The milk priced at Rs 90 per litreis also known as ‘Pride of Cows’. Devendra Shah Owner Of Dairy Devendra Shah is the owner of Bhagyalakshmi Dairy. He used to work in the textile industry before entering into the dairy farming business. He launched Pride of Cows with only 175 customers which has now increased to over 22000 customers in Mumbai and Pune including many celebrities. Bhagyalakshmi Dairy It has spread over 26 acres and has 2000 Dutch Holstein cows which costs between Rs 90000 and Rs 1 lakh. The farm produces over 25000 litres of milk daily and maintains quality and hygiene. The cows are fed a nutritious diet like soybean maize fodder alpha grass and seasonal vegetables. They drink RO-purified water and stand on rubber mats for comfort.The cows are cleaned three times daily and their weight and temperature are checked before milking. Unwell cows are sent for medical care. Soft music plays 24/7 to keep the cows calm and stress-free. The entire milking process is automated to maintain hygiene ensuring no human touch is involved. Milk travels through pipes undergoes pasteurization and is bottled within seven minutes. The system can milk 50 cows simultaneously. Fast Delivery System Deliveries from the farm to customers in Mumbai are completed in just three and a half hours with vans covering a distance of approximately 163 kilometers daily. Milk is delivered between 5:30 AM and 7:30 AM. Customers can manage their orders via personal login IDs allowing them to modify or cancel deliveries with ease. According to the Investor Relations Society (IRS) India’s dairy market was projected to cross USD 140 billion (Rs 908670 crores) by 2020 which is more than USD 70 billion (Rs 454335 crores) in 2013.
