Bollywood star Pankaj Tripathi and his wife Mridula Tripathi are overjoyed as their 18-year-old daughter Aashi Tripathi takes her first step into the entertainment world. Aashi recently made her debut in the music video Rang Daaro where she stars opposite Prabhakar Swami. The song sung by Mainak Bhattacharya and Sanjana Ramnarayan was released on March 14 2025. Pankaj known for his roles in Mirzapur and many other hits expressed his happiness over his daughter’s new journey. He shared that Aashi has always been passionate about performing arts and seeing her on screen for the first time was an emotional moment. Aashi who is currently studying at a college in Mumbai has always dreamed of becoming an actor. When music composer Abhinav R Kaushik approached her parents with the music video offer they encouraged her to take this opportunity and follow her passion. Talking about her debut Pankaj said “Watching Aashi on screen was a proud and emotional moment for both of us. She has a natural talent for acting and if this is just the beginning I’m excited to see where her journey takes her.” Aashi’s mother Mridula also shared her thoughts saying “We wanted Aashi to start with something that matched her artistic sensibilities.
