Delhi Delhi | Scientists developed a new technology, which can increase plant growth and immunity by preserving beneficial bacteria. This technology will help farmers use bacteria and agricultural chemicals simultaneously. Researchers described it as a revolutionary discovery for the agricultural industry.

Scientists at the Northern Carolina State University have successfully tested a new technology, protecting bacteria and later applied to crops. This bacteria promotes growth of plants as well as protects against pests and diseases.

According to research, this technique will help develop probiotics customized for plants. Scientists used two major beneficial bacteria – pseudomonas simia and azospirillum brassilance, one in which one serves as a biosal insecticide and the other as a bio -fertilizer.

How does this technique work?

A special emulsion is used in this technique, which contains saline solution, biodegradable oil and cellulose polymers. This emulsion protects bacteria and enables it to mix effectively with fertilizers and pesticides.

Research results:

After four weeks of testing, researchers found that the number of bacteria stored in emulsion was 200–500% higher than normal salt solution. In addition, when pesticides were added to it, there was no decrease in its effect, which can prove to be revolutionary for the agricultural industry.

Researchers believe that this discovery can help agricultural producers use less fertilizers and pesticides, which will also reduce environmental effects.

conclusion:

This technology can help farmers to increase crop production and reduce losses. Scientists believe that this method can bring a new change in the agricultural industry if it is adopted on a large scale.
