New Delhi: The wait is finally over! For quite a while now, moviegoers had been speculating about the release date of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming film Sikandar. But now, apparently, all the confusion has come to an end.
We already knew that Sikandar was slated for release on Eid 2025. However, the exact date was still awaited! There is no denying that Sikandar is one of the most highly anticipated flicks of 2025. Even before its theatrical debut, the film has garnered significant buzz on social media, and Salmaniacs are going crazy for its cinematic premiere.
A source informed Bollywood Hungama that the movie will be released on March 30, 2025 (Sunday). An official announcement regarding the same is still awaited from the makers.
Alongside the Bhaijaan of Hindi cinema, the flick also features Rashmika Mandanna and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles. Sikandar is being helmed by blockbuster filmmaker AR Murugadoss. Its power-packed teaser was unveiled online on February 27, 2025. So far, the one-minute and 21-second-long clip has garnered over 35 million views and more than 6 lakh likes on YouTube. WHOA! Now, that is huge. Isn’t it?
It is believed that Sikandar was filmed over a 90-day period in Mumbai and Hyderabad. The movie was reportedly shot in other locations across the country as well.
The action thriller, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is also said to feature Kajal Aggarwal. As per PTI, the principal photography of Sikandar concluded in January 2025. However, the news agency further stated that the actors had to shoot some patchwork scenes and a promotional song in February and March.
Sikandar is expected to cause mayhem at the Box Office by setting cash registers ringing. Considering the release date and Eid festivities, a large number of fans are likely to flock to theaters, drenched in enthusiasm and fervor, to watch the film.
