Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) the IT firm of the Tata Group and India’s third most valuable company with a market capitalization of Rs 12.67 lakh crore has announced a strategic partnership with Air New Zealand.
This five-year collaboration aims to modernize the Kiwi airlines digital infrastructure positioning it as a leader in AI-driven innovation within the aviation industry.
TCS known for its expertise in IT services and consulting supports global firms in enhancing their digital capabilities. In a statement released on Wednesday the IT major explained the significance of this partnership in driving advancements for Air New Zealand enabling the airline to achieve a more agile efficient and customer-centric digital ecosystem.
TCS On New Partnership
This collaboration aims to enhance Air New Zealands digital capabilities improve customer experience and drive operational efficiencies across various aspects of its business including fleet management crew scheduling and ground services TCS said.
The agreement signing event was attended by New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon who is in Mumbai today besides Tata Group Chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran Air New Zealand Chief Executive Officer Greg Foran and TCS Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director K Krithivasan.
With an office in Auckland and a team of 460 professionals TCS serves 20+ blue-chip customers in the region across banking retail construction manufacturing and local government.

Each year the airline flies more than 15 million passengers on over 3400 weekly flights. The airline has 98 operating aircraft ranging from Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and Airbus A320s to ATRs and Q300s.
