The evaluation of answer sheets of UP Board high school and intermediate examinations has started today. According to UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh, a total of 261 evaluation centers have been set up for the evaluation of answer sheets across the state.
The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) has started the evaluation of answer sheets of class 10th and 12th examinations for the academic year 2024-25. According to officials, the board is evaluating about 3 crore answer sheets of UP Board high school and intermediate examinations under high-tech surveillance. The process is being monitored with CCTV cameras equipped with voice recorders at 261 evaluation centers across the state. The responsibility of evaluating the answer sheets has been assigned to more than 1.5 lakh evaluators. This process will end on April 2.
After the evaluation process is complete, the board will declare the UP Board Class 10 and 12 results. According to UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh, the results will be released in the last week of April.
Checking of copies at multiple levels
The checking of copies is being monitored at multiple levels - district, divisional and regional. Apart from this, live feed from all evaluation centers is being sent to the control room at the UP Board headquarters and its camp office in Lucknow.
84,122 examiners and 8,437 deputy chief examiners have been appointed for the evaluation of 1.63 crore answer sheets for the high school examination. At the same time, 50,601 examiners and 5,471 deputy chief examiners have been appointed for the evaluation of 1.33 crore answer sheets for the intermediate examination.
The examination was held at 8,140 centers in the state till March 12
The board had conducted the examinations at 8,140 centers in the state from February 24 to March 12. A total of 25.56 lakh students appeared in the high school examination, while 25.77 lakh students appeared in the intermediate examination.
How can you check the results?
Students will be able to download their results from the official UPMSP website after they are released. To check the result, students will have to use their roll number and other required details. Apart from this, students will also be able to check their results through SMS or their respective schools.
