Nagpur: The budget of the Zilla Parishad was waiting for the stamp duty. The date of presenting the budget on March 19 has been fixed with the clearing of the way for the Rs 27 crore stamp fee. Zilla Parishad CEO and Administrator Vinayak Mahamuni will present the budget.
The stamp fee of the Zilla Parishad owes Rs 168 crore to the state government. The foster minister assured the Zilla Parishad to pay the outstanding stamp fee. There was a delay in presenting the budget in the hope of getting the stamp duty. Since 2015, the stamp fee of the Zilla Parishad owes the government. Out of that, the government has been agreed to pay 27 crores.
The budget for the financial year 2024-25 was 42 crore 33 lakh 55 thousand 954 rupees. The budget was presented by the then Finance Chairman Rajkumar Kusumbe. The administrator has been appointed at the end of the term of the Zilla Parishad. The Zip CEO has been given the rights of the administrator. Administrator Vinayak Mahamuni will present the budget for the first time.
The budget of this time is estimated to be around 60 crores due to the stamp fee. In this budget, there is a strong possibility of presenting an important innovation scheme for the rural areas of the district.
