Mumbai University Reschedules March-April 2025 Exams Amid MHT-CET; Check New Dates Here

Mumbai: The University of Mumbai on Wednesday announced the rescheduling of various Summer 2025 examinations due to the State Common Entrance Test 2025-2026 in Maharashtra.

The affected examinations include those in Science and Technology, Commerce and Management, and Arts disciplines. The decision impacts students enrolled in multiple programmes across affiliated colleges and the Centre for Distance & Online Education (CDOE).

For Science and Technology courses, examinations that were originally scheduled between March 26 and April 1 have been postponed. Specifically, the T.Y.B.Sc. (Data Science) (Sem VI) (Choice Base) exam, initially set for March 26, will now be held on April 4.

Other affected examinations include T.Y.B.Sc. (Sem VI) (Choice Base), T.Y.B.Sc. (Sem VI) (CBGS), T.Y.B.Sc. in Computer Science (Sem VI) (Choice Base), T.Y.B.Sc. in Biotechnology (Sem VI) (Choice Base), and T.Y.B.Sc. in Information Technology (Sem VI) (Choice Base), all of which have been rescheduled to April 4.

Commerce and Management examinations have also been affected, with papers initially scheduled between March 24 and April 3 now postponed. The revised dates are as follows: all papers scheduled for March 24 will now be held on April 5, those for March 25 will be conducted on April 7, March 26 papers will take place on April 8, March 27 papers will be held on April 9, and March 28 papers have been moved to April 11.

Additionally, exams originally set for April 2 and April 3 will now be conducted on April 15 and April 16, respectively. The University has clarified that the time and venue for all these examinations will remain unchanged.

Similarly, the Arts faculty examinations, which were set to commence on March 26, have also been rescheduled. All exams planned for March 26 will now be held on April 5. Papers scheduled for March 27 have been moved to April 19, those for March 28 will now be conducted on April 21, while examinations originally planned for April 2 and 3 will now be held on April 22 and 23, respectively. The time and venue for all these exams will remain unchanged.
