India is constantly alerting about terrorist activities from across the border. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) searched several areas of Jammu after receiving information about infiltration of active terrorists from across the border. These terrorists were associated with banned terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM).

The National Investigation Agency searched several locations in Jammu on Wednesday. The NIA teams conducted a thorough search of the houses of over ground workers (OGW) associated with newly formed organizations and colleagues of banned terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM).

Terrorists were conspiring against India

As part of the action taken by the anti-terrorism investigative agency in the RC-04/2024/NIA/JMU case, the complexes of supporters and workers of these organizations were also in depth search. The raid is associated with terrorist attacks on security forces and citizens a few months ago, which was part of a major criminal conspiracy by terrorist organizations to wage war against India.

The NIA searched a total of 12 places in Jammu district of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir under its operation and also seized several objectionable materials connecting the terrorists with over ground workers. The NIA teams are also checking the material to expose the terrorist conspiracy.

Terrorists reached the valley with the help of cooperation

The action was taken by the agency after the NIA informed about the infiltration of terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM) through the International Border and Line of Control (LoC).

The reports have also revealed that the terrorists were helped by the terrorist colleagues living in OGW and border areas. This help included the help of the terrorists to help the terrorists, in addition to providing food, shelter and money, to ensure safe way to terrorists in extremely inaccessible areas of Jammu region.

It is believed that with the help of local terrorist colleagues, the terrorists reached the internal areas of Kathua, Doda, Udhampur, Kishtwar, Rajouri, Reasi, Poonch and Kashmir Valley.
