A content creator from Bangkok recently explored Thailand’s Area 51 where locals claim to have spotted UFOs at least once in their lives. Travis Leon Price spent an entire day at the mystic site, located in the mountain region of Khao Kala. He also spoke to a local guy named Somjit who confirmed the existence of alien bodies in the area. When asked about the chance of spotting extraterrestrial spacecraft, he said, “I see it every day, very often. At around 7 PM (local time), we will start to see them." Somjit even shows some pictures of aerial objects he had captured from Area 51.
The duo then drove to a UFO club– a spot to “hang out and observe the night sky". Prince felt the region had all the characteristics to be imagined as a “UFO hotspot with lonely roads, isolated farmlands and tall crops" all resting beneath the Khao Kala mountain.
Residents also believe that when they meditate in front of a Buddha statue, situated at the top of the mountain, it works as a signal for the alien bodies. “Some locals feel these orbs are coming from within the mountain and that meditating in front of the statue draws them out," Price said in a video he dropped on Instagram.
His mission was somewhat successful. After the sky turned dark, Price spotted a lot of flying objects. “They could be satellites or something else but they moved fast and also they moved in obscure directions. Sometimes, they accelerated and sometimes, slowed down. When they are stationary and you shine the laser at them, they start to move," he explained.
The post went viral in no time, attracting reactions from many curious individuals. A viewer reckoned the objects that Price saw were nothing but drones. The content creator, however, could not agree and said, “You know, most drones can only stay in the sky for 15-20 minutes."
Another user shared, “I came from this province and had seen something like this all the time. I told my grandmother who said they were ghosts." A person reckons the people of Khao Kala are trying to establish it as a tourist area. “An alien abduction story is next in line," he quipped. The video has garnered more than 2,50,000 views and over 5,000 likes on Instagram.
