The 70s 80s and 90s of Hindi cinema were a golden time period for actors and even for the audience. Some of the cult classic films such as Sholay Anand Mera Naam Joker Deewaar and more made it to the big screens. In many movies during those times several new faces were seen who enjoyed brief fame and then vanished into thin air. Similarly a star kid made his debut at the age of 21 and gained a lot of fame. However his road to films was full of struggles. Not only his personal life but his professional life also made major headlines. Just a year before this actor marked his debut he went through one of the most horrifying incidents of his life when he saw his father killing his entire family. What is even more sad and spine-chilling is that the incident took place on his birthday eve. Let us tell you the actor in discussion is Kamal Sadanah. In 1992 Kamal made his debut with 16-year-old Kajol in the film Bekhudi. While the movie had a lot of expectations it did not perform well at the box office. However Kamals real recognition came when he featured in the 1993 film Rang in which he acted along with the late Divya Bharti. Despite the name and fame Kamal took a hiatus from acting for several years after the release of Rang. Kamal Sadanahs Tragic Family Story Kamal became a witness to one of the most horrifying incidents one could ever dare to think about. When the actor turned 20 his mother Sayeeda Khan was organizing a birthday party for him. However things went haywire when his father Brij Sadanah lost his calm and an argument broke out between the two. In a fit of rage Kamals father took out his gun and shot his mother and sister. As soon as Kamal heard the gunshots he rushed down to see what had happened and thats when his father also tried to shoot him. Fortunately the bullet missed the target and Kamals life was saved. Later Brij shot himself. In just a fraction of a second Kamal lost his family. The autopsy revealed that Brij was drunk at the time of the episode. Coming back to Kamals work life after taking a break he returned to the big screen in 2005 with his directorial Karkash and also played a supporting role in the TV show Kasamh Se in 2006. In 2007 Kamal produced Victoria No. 203 which was a remake of his fathers film of the same name. However the movie did not do well at the box office. As an actor Kamal made a comeback after 15 years with the 2022 release Salaam Venky.
