Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya, who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony last year, have finally opened up about their journey as a couple. In a candid conversation with Vogue, the duo reflected on their relationship, love story, and how they navigate marriage amid their demanding careers.
For Sobhita, falling in love with Naga felt natural. “He was clear-headed, even-keeled, and optimistic,” she shared. “At that point in my life, I was also in a space where I was ready to give and receive love.”
Balancing their personal and professional lives has been an ongoing effort for the couple. “It’s all still very new to us,” Sobhita admitted. “We’ve planned the next four to five months based on our respective commitments, but we’re always looking for small pockets of time to escape together.” Naga echoed her sentiment, adding, “We squeeze in holidays or just chill whenever we can.”
When asked what draws him most to his wife, Naga’s response was instant: “Her Telugu, man. In Mumbai, she’s the quintessential city girl—cool, hip, and forward-thinking. But back in Vizag, she’s deeply rooted in tradition, and I love that contrast.”
Interestingly, Sobhita never imagined herself marrying someone from the film industry. Reflecting on how love took her by surprise, she said, “The timing was just perfect. Before I met him, I wouldn’t have thought he’d be the one. He’s perfectly content spending hours cleaning his bike just because he enjoys it. That kind of pure, unfiltered passion is rare. He finds beauty even in life’s inconveniences—always looking at the bright side.”
After years of dating, Sobhita and Naga exchanged vows in December 2024 in Hyderabad, marking the beginning of their new chapter together.
