Several leading brands, designers, and fashion lovers have been publicly seen wearing Farshi Shalwar. However, the trend originated during the Great Mughal Era, which makes it a royal dress as well. The recent fascination with it has flourished due to its regal and elegant look.

Certainly, the word “farshi” has its roots in the Persian language, derived from the word “farsh,” meaning floor, which fully clarifies the entire look.

With the rising trend of Farshi Shalwar this season, Sadaf Kanwal is considered a trendsetter. An Instagram post was uploaded by a salon showcasing the Farshi Shalwar trend and mentioning Sadaf Kanwal as the one who actually started it. However, the public has had mixed reactions to this claim.

Many brands have designed stunning dresses to revive the trend. However, Sadaf Kanwal’s brand has been one of the dominant brands leading the Farshi Shalwar trend. Several actresses and public figures, including Aiza Khan, Maya Ali, Sumbal Iqbal, Iqra Aziz, and many others, have been flaunting their looks wearing this beautiful shalwar.

Evidently, the public has shown a mixed reaction to the idea of Sadaf Kanwal being the OG of the Farshi Shalwar trend due to her diverse fan following. Some tried to criticize her look, while others appreciated it.

Nevertheless, the idea of Farshi Shalwar becoming the “National Dress” for Eid continues to attract public interest. Let’s see how many people choose it as their Eid outfit.
