Google has finally launched the third device of the Pixel 9A series in India. Google Pixel 9A has been launched as the successor of Google Pixel 8A and the device is priced at Rs 49,999 in India. It will be available for sale in April 2025.
Google Pixel 9A has a familiar design element just like other Pixel 9 series. The device can be seen as a contestant of the iPhone 16E. Hardware and software are upgraded to Google Pixel 9A.
Specification
The Google Pixel 9A has a 6.3 -inch actua poled display (1080 x 2424 pixels) with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. The peak brightness of the device is up to 2700 nits and has the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The device is powered by the Tensor G4 chip of Google which is combined with the Titan M2 Security Cooperative. Google Pixel 9A has a 256GB internal device with 8GB RAM. It provides for dual SIM (Nano+ESIM) smartphone with Android 15. The device will continue to get software updates for the next 7 years. The device receives an IP68 rating against dust and water damage.
The color options on the device are iris, obesidians, peoni and porcelain colors. In the case of camera specs, Google Pixel 9A provides a 48MP primary rear camera with OIS and a 13MP ultra-wide camera (120 degree field of view). The front camera is a 13MP sensor and is suitable for taking selfies/video calls. Camera features include macro focus, adi, night site, remazine, magic eraser, best tech, photo unbalar and more.
The primary camera can record videos up to 4K/60 FPS. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS etc. We get USB Type-C 3.2 port for charging. The device has an in-display fingerprint sensor and weighs 185.9 grams. The device has a 5100mAh Li-ion battery that gives a battery life of more than 30 hours. It has 23W wired charging support as well as QI-wireless charging support.
