Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were once deeply in love. In the late 90s they were one of the most talked-about couples in the industry and many believed they would get married. However their relationship took a sudden turn leading to a heartbreaking separation. While many blamed Salman for the breakup Arbaaz Khan once revealed in an interview that Aishwaryas hesitation about marriage played a significant role in their breakup. Aishwarya Rai was already a well-known name in the 90s who was admired worldwide for her beauty and talent. After a successful modeling career she made her way into Bollywood and soon starred alongside Salman Khan in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999).
