LPG Cylinder for Just ₹500: The Haryana government has introduced a new initiative aimed at providing relief to rural and economically disadvantaged communities. Named the 'Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana 2025', this program is specifically designed for women, focusing on making LPG cylinders available at affordable prices.

Under the Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana 2025, priority will be given to:

• Women who do not currently have a gas connection.


• Those who are unable to purchase LPG cylinders due to financial constraints.


• Women from economically weaker sections (BPL, poor, and rural areas).

• Women will receive LPG cylinders for just ₹500, aiding them in managing their monthly budgets.


• This initiative aims to reduce respiratory illnesses caused by smoke from wood and coal, thereby improving health for women and children.


• It will also help decrease air pollution by reducing reliance on traditional fuels like wood and coal.


• Special camps are being organized to assist women in registering and availing the benefits easily.

• Approximately 2.8 lakh women are expected to benefit from this scheme.


• However, only 88,500 women (33%) have registered so far.


• The government and the food supply department have initiated awareness campaigns.


• Special camps are being set up in various districts to encourage more women to apply.

• Interested women should visit their nearest food supply department office or any special camp.


• They will need to submit the required documents to apply.
