Mumbai: A Mumbai resident raised voice about the issue of broken footpaths via X on Thursday. In the post, the user mentioned the broken pavement in Vile Parle, specifically opposite the C. Bhogilal, a plumbing supplies showroom, in Mumbai.
The X user also expressed in the video stating that the 'entire city’s infrastructure is crumbling'. The user noted that this was the scene on Thursday morning in front of St. Joseph’s Convent, where children regularly use the sidewalk. He also pointed out that the basic infrastructure of the state is in absolute shambles.

In a post by X user, (@surajmordani) stated, "The whole city's infrastructure is crumbling. This is from Vile Parle today morning, right outside St. Joseph's Convent. Kids use this sidewalk regularly. Look at the state of basic infrastructure, it's in absolute shambles."
Additionally, a similar issue was raised by another Mumbai resident of Vile Parle, who shared a picture of dismantled footpath with a caption that said, "Art installation by my BMC at SV Road pavement, Vile Parle, opposite C. Bhogilal."
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), which is the civic body of Mumbai that is responsible for authorising infrastructure of the city, responded to the post, stating, "We regret your inconvenience. We have informed Ward KW BMC to attend to this."
