A training camp for spokespersons on home care has commenced at Lakshmi Bhawan Dharamshala, Panchkula, organized by the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board.
(Chandigarh News) Chandigarh. The Indian Red Cross Society and St. John Ambulance (India) Haryana State Branch have initiated an eight-day training camp focused on first aid and home care spokespersons from March 18 to March 25. The camp was inaugurated by Ankush Miglani, Vice Chairman of the Haryana State Branch, who encouraged all spokespersons attending from Haryana.
Miglani emphasized the importance of training students, employees in various industries, and the general public in first aid practices. He pointed out the critical need for awareness among rural populations regarding CPR, controlling bleeding from injuries, and applying bandages for fractures. He urged spokespersons to conduct awareness camps in various locations.
Sunil Kumar, a member of the Gau Seva Commission and Swachh Bharat Mission Haryana, praised the activities of the Red Cross and St. John and called for increased awareness on first aid and other social issues. The camp's director, Sanjeev Dhiman, along with assistant director Anil Dhiman, welcomed the chief guest.
The camp director provided insights into the daily activities planned for the training. National Master Trainer Sunita Dhul facilitated the proceedings. Dhiman shared the achievements of the chief guest and discussed future plans. Trainers including Dr. Sunita Dhul, Anju Sharma, Ravinder Kumar, and state first aid trainer M.C. Dhiman will provide essential first aid training to all spokespersons. Notable attendees included Deepak Nasa, Chandra Mohan, and participants from the district such as Kavita Sarkar, Meenakshi, Anil Indal, Naresh Kumar, Ghamir Singh, Krishna Kukkad, and Anju Rani.
