Located in Mumbai The Amateur Riders’ Club (ARC) has qualified Stasya Pandey, Jahnvi Raheja, and Jaden Dsouza for the National Equestrian Championships (NEC), which will take place at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai. Col. HR Sunil and the esteemed Col. Sunil Shivdas assessed the qualifiers.
Athletes will compete in the Dressage and Show Jumping divisions of the competition, which is being organized by the Equestrian Federation of India (EFI). As to the ARC news release, Stasya Pandey, riding ‘Cougar De Fees’ from the Amateur Riders’ Club, finished her round in 75 seconds in the Children 1 Show Jumping competition.
The Amateur Riders’ Club’s Jaden Dsouza, astride “Whispering Silver,” who finished her round in 74 seconds, and Jahnvi Raheja, astride “Cougar De Fees,” who finished her round in 84 seconds, were the riders who advanced in the Junior Show Jumping division.
The Mahalaxmi Racecourse’s International class arena serves as a regular training ground for all of these riders as well as several more. Top cyclists like Yashaan Khambatta (2014 Asian Games representative) and Hriday Chheda (2023 Asian Games gold winner) have called the club home. Both now teach new riders at ARC.
