A "do not eat" warning has been issued for a breakfast item sold in , Ocado, and Amazon. The item might have traces of bugs.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issues recalls for various reasons, including when products contain allergens not disclosed on the packaging or if plastic is detected in the item. When a product is recalled for any reason, the FSA shares details on what you should do if you bought the item and why the item has been pulled from sale.

‌Rude Health Foods Ltd has had to recall a batch of its Chocolate Crunch Granola because the product "might contain insects". This means there is a possible health risk that "may make them unsafe to eat".

The Rude Health granola usually contains "a blend of toasted wholegrain cereals with cocoa, raw sugar, chopped almonds and coconut flakes". Shoppers should check their cupboards to see if they've purchased this cereal brand and if it's affected.

, which will appear in stores to warn potential customers who have purchased this product, states that there has been a "possible insect infestation" in the batch. It claims that no further batches were affected by this issue.

The notice also says: "This recall is being with the knowledge of the UK Food Standards Agency. We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused to our customers."

FSA advice reads: "If you have bought the above product, do not eat it. Instead, return it to your local store for a refund. For further information, please get in touch with Rude Health Foods Ltd at hello@rudehealth.com."

The affected products have a best-before date of October 24, 2025, come in 400g boxes, and have the batch code PD24102024. Customers do not need their receipts to claim a full refund.
