Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Federation of MP Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FMPCCI) demanded e-rickshaw at Rani Kamlapati Railway and Bhopal Railway stations.
A meeting of Divisional Railway Users' Consultative Committee (DRUCC) was held at DRM office on Friday.
Due to renovation and vast development of both the railway stations, children, women and senior citizens have to face difficulties in platforms so there must be e-rickshaw facilities.
Similarly, increase in frequency of Bhopal-Indore intercity have been demanded considering the business centre in Bhopal. Poor quality of food served in trains were also raised in the meeting. Demand for shifting of goods shed in Guna has been demanded.
DRM Devashish Tripathi presided over the meeting, which was attended by several important representatives and officials. Among those present were MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani and Ansul Tiwari, who was nominated by MP Alok Sharma. Additionally, Vijay Kumar Jain, nominated by Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh, and Nilesh Shrivastava, nominated by Narmadapuram MP Dashrath Chaudhary, were also in attendance.
Other notable attendees included Ashok Patel, representing FMPCCI, and Santosh Singh Thakur, who was nominated by Sagar MP Lata Wankhede. The meeting brought together key figures from various sectors to discuss important matters.
